While skips are an excellent choice for most clearance jobs, larger projects may require the capacity a RoRo provides.
RoRo stands for Roll-On-Roll-Off and refers to how the skips roll on and off the flatbed of the lorries that transport them. With a 40YD RoRo capacity at approximately 400 black bin bags, these are ideal for large commercial and industrial clearance jobs.
AYS Skip Hire can and provide 15YD, 20YD, 35YD or 40YD RoRos for the below types of projects:
- Construction Sites
- Office Refurbishments
- Shop Refits/ Refurbishments
- Property Development Sites
RoRos are charged on a haulage and tonnage basis and are transported on 32-tonne GVW lorries with four axels. These lorries require much more room to manoeuvre than a standard lorry and are expensive to operate. Please ensure there is sufficient space on site for access as the haulage fee will be payable on wasted journeys.
